Getting here
We're in the heart of the CBD, within walking distance of several train stations: Melbourne Central Station: 6 minute walk (allow extra time to exit the shopping centre) Flinders Street Station: 8 minute walk Parliament Station: 9 minute walk (use the Spring Street exit)
We have a selection of hot toasties and snacks (chocolate, lollies, crisps) at the bar any night of the week. No need to pre-book or upgrade your ticket. Just head to the bar when you arrive.
All tickets are General Admission with no reserved seating. It's first in, best dressed! The Theatre opens approx. 15 minutes before each show.
Coming as a group? We'll seat you together. It's easiest if you all enter the theatre together. If some of your group are running late, let the venue manager know and they'll hold the extra seats.
We're on the first and second floors of the building, which are currently accessible by stairs only. There are 47 steps in our venue: 22 from the entrance to the bar, and 25 from the bar to the theatre. If you need assistance, let our friendly team know and we'll do our best to help.
Unfortunately our venue is not wheelchair accessible. We're truly sorry we can't currently welcome wheelchair users to Comedy Republic. As a new theatre in an old building, we're working with the landowners to transform our venue into an accessible space for every comedy lover. Keep an eye out for updates.
We accept Companion Cards for all ticketed events. A Companion Card lets the cardholder book a free ticket for the companion who assists them during their visit. Select a 'Companion Card' ticket when booking online and show your card at the Box Office on arrival.
If you have specific access requirements, please contact us before your visit.
